This is a real time post.
I have ended up in Peja and it was not scheduled at all.
A friend of a friend drove me here and I almost wanted to get back 5 minutes after I had arrived.
She stopped for two hitchhikers on the road, we had some nice conversation in the car, and then every one has taken different roads.
I had wandered for a while why all of my colleagues told me good things about this place.
I was pretty disappointed ’cause I expected some nice mountain village with sheeps and flowers.
Of course, in comparison to Pristina the air here was much more breathable!
Then at 2 PM we met again and she took me to a typical restaurant in the mountains… and there my perspective changed (a post will follow).
Yes, the two pictures here below counts as positive aspects!!! 🤣
And here is the reason why I wanted to leave:
Most of the city is like this.
Abandoned.
Just like the injured stray dogs that I met and whose vision still haunts me.
But the indifference of people towards so much pain and sufference is something that hurts the most.
Looking forward to more of this story. 😊

Yes, it was terrible and people kept on walking calmly, as if it was normal 🤬😡
