It is true, Rome has terrible ways of transport but if you don’t live here you don’t really need them!

Walk as much as you can and enjoy its beauties, they are everywhere and they are even better than monuments!

    1. Is the one of via XX settembre, that he will know for sure. Right after the unification of Italy they have changed some districts names. Nowadays you can see them on the right corner of some street plates. I am so into this renaming that since I have discovered it I dedicate some post to the mini districts of Rome. Sometimes they do not correspond to the modern renaming or municipalities division (municipi). But mention him Rione Monti! It is one of the ancient ones and it is still very known ☺️

      2. In that case you definitely need to have lunch or dinner in trattoria vecchia Roma, it is just there, close to via Merulana. He might know it. They make one of the best amatriciana (pasta) ever 😋😂😋
